A Real Injustice Committed

Its  a travesty that Diane Abbott wasn’t on  the new year honours list.
Love her or hate her she is a icon in British politics and was the first Black MP in Parliament and due to her historical win it was a symbol of hope in a prior elitist commons.
Her win  birthed many BAME political careers MPS/councillors people who would previously not have  had the guts or avenue to enter the political arena.
After everything she has endured racism death threats a  acknowledgement on a new years list would have softened the blow of all her trauma in politics.
But to be snubbed in this brazen manner is just a crying shame and the afro-caribbean should take notice of this.
She has more right to be on that list than some vain  people who are on there that don’t deserve to be.
Why are politicians using their personal grudges to spite  victims of bullying is that a dangerous precedent were seeing.
But what I will say Diane Abbott  should hold her head high she can be deemed a controversial figure, but who is snow white these days in politics ,but she will go down in history as a trailblazer  and has a legacy not many could measure up to ,so not one list can discredit that.
She should hold her head up with pride.
And what I want to know how many black figures on the new years honours list because from previous viewing its lacking colour.

Spread the love
