To me this man Teddy Swims is criminally underrated.
He has so much potential to be the next Al Green.
When I came across this duet cover for his song ‘Lose Control’.
What’s not to love it has one of the best veteran vocalist out there the lovely Kelly Clarkson and he holds his own , and his tune to me could be the next theme of any James Bond film .
It’s mesmerizing.
It’s refreshing to see a celeb not publicity hungry and just lets his music do the talking.
And he is living proof that music can break race relations as he reportedly got introduced to soul music at a relatively young age, and ended up crafting it as a hobby through YouTube videos and they say perseverance pays off he finally got his record deal.
But am urging his record label to promote him more he truly deserves to be more famous than he currently is.
I hope he performs in a BET Awards showcase or 02 arena.
