I’ve been receiving some requests from readers about African recipes.
I will say im not a Gordon Ramsay, but I do know my way around a kitchen.
Let’s just say the pandemic gave me a lot of opportunity to practice my cooking skills, and the best process as always was the testing.
What can I say trial and error.
But the dish I find I get requested the most is jollof rice recipes.
Everyone in Africa has their take on it.
What I will do will show the steps to my jollof rice recipe ,half of it, and I want people to email me their own version of jollof ,and I’ll publish the best version ,and my full version on a later date.
1.Wash 1 red bell pepper,2 scotch bonnet peppers, one onion.
2.And chop all finely.
3.Put in a blender and mix with a large can of chopped tomatoes.
4. Blend until all is incorporated.
5.Heat a pot and chop half an onion finely.
6. Put Vege oil in a pot ,and throw in the chopped onions.
7. Mix
8.Then add the recently blended vegetables to the pot.
That’s it I’m not gonna reveal my full recipe.
Until I get advice on what should be my next step in the recipe .
The fun part of cooking is learning, and I truly want to see the different methods you the readers have of making this divisive dish.
