Not Again……

A scene which is sadly not strange these days is the US police killing another unarmed black person.

That sadly is the norm is this modern climate.

But what is not  normal seeing a group of  rogue black  officers killing a unarmed black man.

That was the the case of Tyre Nichols.

A man who was apprehended on a traffic stop, and officers descended on him like a pack of wolves leaving him literally a shell of his former self, and what also was tragic aid wasn’t rendered to him immediately.

What I find disturbing is the fact people are annoyed on the race subject.

It  shouldn’t be the issue of black on black, white on white ,white on black any  police killing is unlawful.

Why is that some police officers (who I know  most wouldn’t   want to be associated with the barbaric act)

want to play God, and decide who lives or who dies, and are ultimately abusing their ultimate power which is ‘public trust’.

The thing I found remarkable was when his parents did a sit-down interview with one of my fave journalists Don Lemon.

The interview was so raw and the strength and also  the vulnerability in the mom made me melt away. Especially when said  she couldn’t recognized him sadly if he survived he would have been a vegetable.

You can tell the bond she had with her son, as she said when he was being killed she felt pains in her stomach that exact moment.

And also that he   had a tattoo of her on his body.

What I found remarkable they say kill your enemies with kindness ,she certainly did when she said  she feels sorry for the officers and their families, as they brought shame to them and themselves.

And hopefully what I think I can gather form the purpose of the interview was to  say her son won’t be a victim or martyr his death will hopefully change things for the better.

I too hope so.

And I thing the first step to change is racial training in the force  e.g..

What I hope his death wont be in vain and hopefully more will be done to  aissue which I think is becoming a new epidemic in the US.
