I remember when I was catching up on old home and away and I came across this storyline.
It truly proved about history it’s good to learn from the past so we don’t repeat, and sad thing these incidents are still happening.
The actor who played the father sadly passed but he really went to town with his performance of a despicable wife basher who loved inflicting misery on others due to his pent up rage in regards to losing his stature in the job market.
Unfortunately his long-suffering wife died but what saddened me it was a case of many people knowing and turning a a blind eye.
Which unfortunately still goes on as most people have approach I have my own baggage to deal with and don’t want to carry another persons load.
Home and Away did a great job in showing that not all time domestic abuse is done behind closed doors sometimes its in plain view of many people.
What i can say to any victim of domestic abuse especially when you have children get out it never will improve once it starts it rarely improves.
And it is selfish to subject your child to abuse by keeping silence always know keeping quiet is definitely booking your turn in a mortuary. Home And Away at its best.
