Im so saddened to hear President Buhari has died.
Truly ruined my Sunday and i haven’t been the same since.
Im even shocked to learn he died in London after a prolonged illness.
What hurts he didn’t get to enjoy the retirement he so deserved after his presidency.
What i will remember him he was a humble man who loved his nation,but he was human he had inner pain being in military and lost children to illness and was even imprisoned due to politics.But due to his pure heart he overcame all those heavy obstacles to achieve his dream of being President and ultimately dad of the nation.
His simplicity is what he was famous for he was never into money and was a family man I loved the story of when his senior daughter died he adopted his grandson in heart and they were joint at the hip he even if you see online a younger version of Pres Buhari also when his spokesperson mum died he came all the way to the funeral and stayed even when it was Christian and he was Muslim.
Those are the stories that I think the media doesn’t always highlight he had a heart of gold and led with integrity.
He was a man who had been through so much and still survived which gave others hope and made him seem indestructible almost he was a survivor.
I truly hope all nigerians come together and we see more leaders with his principles leaders who frown upon corruption and mirror themselves at the level of citizens they serve.
Pres Buhari may you rest in peace and my condolences to his family and the nation.
In memory of Pres Buhari all nigerians should come together forget tribal differences we are all one NIGERIA.
