I truly was saddened to learn of Julian Dana William McMahon.
At young age of 56.
I seriously feel cancer keeps on robbing the world of the good ones.
Many people remember him being the son of former Australian pm Sir William McMahon and also his work as a flirty character on nip tuck which unfortunately I haven’t watched in years.
But I remember him from his days on home and away as the troubled Carly’s boyfriend and eventually husband.
Anyone who remembers home and away from back in the day Carly never had a easy time she was raped abandoned by her parents and battled alcoholism but Julian played Ben who proved to be her knight in shining armour and gave her that happy ending she so desperately deserved.
I remember his character was famed for wearing tshirt and his bulking physique he seemed untouchable and also he was a likeable character but eventually he left the Australian soap and Hollywood was soon calling,and he managed to build a lucrative and mesmerizing portfolio.Im just happy to know his family have his work to hang on to and remember and they know how Julian was loved by the world.
He played a good guy in Home and Away and was one in real life which makes his death the utmost tragic.
Truly hope he rests in peace.
