I’m so thrilled that Michelle McCool got inducted into the WWE hall of fame it was long overdue.
She was one of those female wrestlers that truly brought women wrestling to the modern era and proved the girls could hang with the boys.
And also was the first teacher to be a woman champion .
I always wondered how her students felt watching the person who use to grade their papers doing spinning kicks in the ring she must be a legend.
Why I applaud her she is not just a lioness in the ring she is a devoted wife and mother and beat cancer all while still looking like she hasn’t aged since retirement.
But the thing I’m bummed about is I think Layla should have got a nomination too .
She was the first British woman champion helped get over a lot of future WWE superstars from likes of AJ Lee and The Bella Twins,and who can forget the classic tlc match with Michelle McCool vs Natalya and Beth Phoenix.
If you see that match you will have new respect for Beth Phoenix she took so much bumps in that match but somehow still finished.
Any mere mortal would have been paralyzed .And most importantly she coined the heel term with Michelle McCool they entered dangerous territory fat shaming Mickie James, which i know her and Michelle McCool were uncomfortable with, but they truly played the bad guys to perfection.
I truly feel she shouldn’t be lost in the vault she was annoyingly good, but she was a huge part of WWE history and one of those black women superstars who was a inspiration for future BAME stars.
I truly hope she get the kudos she deserved, as she paid her dues too.
