Why is black deaths on London street being side-lined around other news stories currently out now.
I know the UK news stories out now are pretty bleak, but why not equal devotion to young black youths being killed on a bus and in London streets, but the key word is black.
If it was any other race victims of senseless violence there would have been more public outrage and a declaration of emergency.
I wont lie its a tough time to be a Londoner you sit in a bus in fear, and now hearing a 14 year killed in a bus doesn’t calm down those nagging fears.
Your scared to use even your local underground as most gangs are operating, there tailing other gang members and innocent members of public can get caught in the conflict.
Then i saw how a group of youth robbed an phone store in Brent Cross Shopping Centre and the security guard was definitely outnumbered and looked scared to me.
There’s a lot of Londoners who say London doesn’t feel safe anymore and they prefer the countryside at least surrounded by sheep not bullets.
I know part of the problem is social deprivation lack of opportunities especially for BAME youth, and lets be honest there’s is few community centres that are having projects. youth can get stuck into.
I feel when you take from the poor they will do acts to show they are starving an this epidemic of knife crime is youth crying out.
When will we have governance that can truly get to grips with the scale of this escalating crisis in London.
And most importantly when will black life be equivalent to all life.
