Where Giving Is The Real Reward

.The meaning of Thanksgiving is not just overloading on turkey and comparing who made the best sweet potato pie.
It’s also about the giving, and I truly get tingles hearing stories of kind hearted people who selflessly open their homes to people who are lonely and would have just celebrated at home with a meal for one.
What shocked me the ages and races vary of people who apply to attend thanksgiving with a stranger and I just remembered that loneliness hasn’t got one face and it is a true silent killer worldwide.
How happy you are determines how long you live fact.
The hosts are the true unsung heroes not caring about the expense of food supplies longer hours of food preparation their compensation is happy faces and empty plates.
What got to me a woman said ‘I would have just been on my own  this thanksgiving eating a rubbish meal and watching a bad movie’.
The irony it is a dangerous act too you don’t know if your inviting danger into you home ,but the positives outweigh the risk.
If there were more people like these hosts  I feel the epidemic of loneliness will decrease.
America time again proves to live up the ideology being one of the greatest  places on earth when they have news like this.
In UK acts like this is  not so popular people usually keep to themselves.
And also with all negativity in the news I’m happy to see Americans  have a day of peace and harmony and food overload.
And the thanks  I think the rest of us owe to the Americans is the blessing of ‘Black Friday’.
I know shopping centres in London ran out of car spaces and most flat screen tv sold  out.
So again thanks America.
