Unlike some proclaimed non-racist organisations in Britain that refuse to give opportunities to young black adults.
It’s good to see Glastonbury hasn’t followed that bad example.
The line-up for this year’s festival was one of the most diverse ever.
And fun fact the Nigerian entertainers were a huge part of the line-up and slayed it.
Which just shows the organisers know that naija music has reached a global audience.
I was so emosh to see how far we come to see all races appreciating afrobeats and even busting some moves.
I’m sad I didn’t go this year as I had other commitments that week but thank God I got to follow up online and hear first-hand accounts from my friends who attended.
The crowd pleaser for me was when they got the living legend Femi Kuti to collab with one of my fave bands Coldplay.
Femi definitely still has got it.
If the festival is like this year’s one I will get my wellies saved in my wardrobe for next year ,and risk the mud, as it truly will be worth it.
Again another reason why I love being a Nigerian.’
