Another thing that’s bugging me is this British government you hear them rehiring key figures in the Blair and Brown government.
All a particular race.
But you wonder where is the former MP Chuka Umunna.
A distinguished black-British politician who was , Shadow Business Secretary, Shadow Minister for Small Business and Enterprise.
So he has the skills and vast experience to be a asset to this current British administration.
He truly would have desperately added some colour to this government and genuinely represent the BAME community in Britain.
I don’t care that he joined other parties to me he was frustrated by some of the treatment he endured in Labour , and where’s the forgiveness?
I don’t blame British government yet again snubbing another black figure.
Why because we the black british citizens never make noise like how African-Americans protest for their rights.
We just time and time again allow our community to be treated like dirt by people at the top.
Chuka Umunna I’ve heard that he’s excelling now in his financial career, and I definitely believe he will have the last laugh as politics isn’t life or death ,as it is for some desperate politicians.
Life does go on.
I don’t think they should punish one black then reward another all black politicians should be treated fairly.
I’m just losing hope for black people in Britain it’s as if we are of no value in mainstream politics and some of the current established black politicians to me are not genuinely campaigning for change for their community.
So if we don’t help our people who do we expect to help us then?
