Rugby star Rob Burrow has died ,and it is sad to imagine what his family are going through.
But I want to use this space to applaud his selfless wife Lindsey.
While on his tough battle of MND he managed to raise money and advocate about the issues of living with motor neurone disease.
But I’m happy the wife is getting appreciated ny the media because I don’t think carers efforts get acknowledged much.
Lindsey was equally strong as her late husband she took care of him unpaid, and raised their young children and still went to work as a physiotherapist.
The one that really gets me his last request was for her to find love again and she said no.
That is true love.
Rip Rob Burrow despite your short life you truly did live it to the full and inspired us all.
Signs of MND:

Fatigue.
Weight loss.
