Dreams Can Still Be Achieved In Our Galaxy

Also,  another news honoring International Women’s day.

A British woman has been awarded the post of NASA’s chief scientist.

The first British and second woman in history to be awarded this prestigious role.

They say it all starts in the  young ages.

As she said she got engrossed in space when her dad put on the television, when it broadcasted Neil Armstrong taking his first steps on the moon in 1969 and she was just nine months old.

Why I feel this 54-year-old woman embodies the spirit of  ‘’womanhood’’

Life dealt her cruel hand ,when she found herself being a widow in 2010 and having to raise her 2 children while working as a senior scientist.

It just shows you strength isn’t just  exhibited  just through muscles.

It’s the ability to soldier on with life and still thrive.

I truly hope she will open more doors for more budding scientists of all colours and backgrounds.

Well done Nicola Fox.
