Recently there was an act of kindness that happened towards me that truly touched me.
I was at my local supermarket in London this past Saturday getting ready to stock up for the week.
I was trying to get a trolley( since pandemic they’ve made it so hard to free from it’s case)
When I was using all my non -existent muscles trying to free it, I was just about to give up,a man with a permanent frown stained to his face rushed all the way form the carpark, he charged towards me, when I was about to be on the defensive ,he told me to try again getting the trolley he assisted me by freeing the trolley.
When it became free I told him thank you, and he said no problem, and as as quick as he came to my aid is just as quick as he disappeared he truly was my saviour that day.
What I would just say don’t judge a book by it’s cover the man frowning came to help me .
Meanwhile there were several people nearby with smiles on their faces ,and saw me struggling and refused to intervene.
I will just say kindness doesn’t cost anything.
It truly can make you have faith in humanity during these dark times.
