Well what a year.
It’s had it’s up and downs, as everyone can agree.
But the one thing we can all be blessed with is the fact that we reached the end of the year.
As not everyone was lucky to achieve that.
It makes me remember a conversation between me and my friends in high school.
‘’That don’t you think it’s weird that people that countdown to the fireworks may not reach the next year’s fireworks.
I know it’s eery to think ,but it’s that knowledge that makes me reflective, and appreciate everyday that I’m alive.
So that’s why I always made it my personal mantra to live every day like it’s my last.
And I also urge more people not to take life too seriously or for granted.
I hope people stick to their new years resolutions, but resist getting into the famous habit of making unrealistic ones.
(Like banning chocolate cake and instead adopting a celery diet
Trust me it never lasts.
It’s best to have everything in moderation.)
And also I’ll suggest more people reach out to people you’ve never spoken to in years.
Life is too sort to hold personal malices and grudges.
As sadly the silent killer especially during the the recent historic lockdowns is loneliness.
That one conversation could be a lifeline for a vulnerable person.
Also what I will say make your mental health your priority, as again due to pandemic, its taking a battering in most people.
I think people should surround themselves with good people and positive vibes.
Lastly I hope everyone has a joyous and productive new year.
Welcome the new year 2023.
