I have to admit London has a epidemic with disturbing behaviour scenes that are mirrored throughout other areas in the UK.
Near a station nearby a woman was followed into the station and raped in a empty carriage in London ,and I remember recently on a packed train to central London with a mate a woman dressed in posh attire suddenly burst out shouting obscenities to all the commuters in her carriage, and making crude gestures.
That was the first time I was genuinely scared riding a train, and all these activities happened in broad daylight.
You know the saying evil is asleep during the day, but they come alive at night.
But what happens when they are awake 24/7. That’s the scenario were currently in Britain.
What I think contributed to the spike in anarchy is a number of factors physical and environmental e.g. lack of employment ,lack of real role models, and no real incentives to stay on the path of straight and narrow.
And the state of the economy doesn’t help, also the pandemic has played with peoples psych.
I believe everyone has potential to change instead of vilifying the perpetrators , we too have to be prepared to rehabilitate them.
Remember the saying there are two sides to every story.
What I would suggest anytime people are out in public stay alert , don’t wear music loud in your earphones/headphones you can be easily distracted from dangers ,and only go out when it’s necessary, and don’t wear expensive jewellery which can make you a easy target.
You know your living in tough times, when if you go out and come back in one piece you rejoice.
