I was shocked to hear former PM David Cameron has prostate cancer and was only discovered due to his wife Samantha urging him to go for screening.
I truly feel he too sis still om shock from his diagnosis and hope form his sorrow it can educate and get more men to get screened to hopefully save lives.
Its the cancer that kills most men and is common especially in black males.
What i respect my gp surgery they have a advert of famous black faces Idris Elba Damon Idris urging males to get tested and not be ashamed.
As most men if honest are embarrassed to get the examination.
I remember meeting him when i was a student and he was polite and bended down in the class and took time to ask us how we found are english lesson and of course we all loved english when our english teacher was standing right by the photographers lol.
Despite if you agree with his politics and brexit issue most people can agree he was a stable pm and brought prestige to Britain British politics has been a mess ever since he left, and people forget he was a carer to his disabled son and always talked about him with affection and championed fellow carers and also who can forget his bromance with Pres Obama.
I truly hope he makes a speedy recovery and hope his diagnosis raises more awareness of the disease.
Again this just shows cancer doesn’t discriminate.
Everyone should enjoy their days as if its their last as sadly you don’t know what’s around the corner.
