I’m so proud that Ireland has elected a woman president.
It’s about time i truly feel times are moving forward in hopefully the right direction in regard to woman roles in politics.
Regardless of her politics this is a good time for Irish history books and people will be keen to see the step she takes especially during heated times in Ireland regarding migrant crisis in Dublin.
What i appreciate in US and UK women are not intimidated to enter the political arena there almost encouraged look at in history the most women that are sitting MPS in UK parliament.
I encourage african countries to welcome more women into politics.
Women are born organisers handling offspring, marriages.
Women bring a sense of calm and practicality and will have more peaceful approaches to disputes resulting in less conflict which citizens will be relived.
I feel African countries should emulate countries like UK and know women are not a threat to politics but a asset, and i say a countries representatives should truly mirror the country, It shouldn’t be one sided.
And lets be honest if we can go through child birth running a country should be a peace of cake.
