First film I will recommend if you want a feel good feeling is a hidden tv gem beyond the blackboard.
Its a a film where the protagonist started as the antagonist but as the film goes on her hard shell breaks down, and she becomes a softie who ends up melting the viewers hearts.
The tv movie is about a middle class teacher who gets assigned her first teaching job teaching homeless kids, and lets just say she had a rough start adjusting at first due to her ignorant preconceptions and well lets just say it prejudice.
B But as time goes on despite being a rookie teacher she gathers all her teaching experience and gives them the best quality of teaching which truly enriches her students lives.
The students end up becoming part of her life and she also goes on a crusade to make the living standards of the makeshift school more adequate for the children.
What i think she found out the character that just because a child has a rough start in life doesn’t mean they should stay on the course for suffering teachers have the ability to steer them in the right direction and hopefully improve their quality of life.
This movie reinforces my notion that teachers don’t get the kudos they deserve ,and also it highlighted to me a dangerous situation, that not all teachers are saints
what happens if a teacher has ignorant views can they be a danger to their students and intentionally work against them not with them.
Sometime when a child comes home and says i don’t think my teacher likes me maybe it could be true. You never know how a person perceives you.
Trust me watch this movie with some popcorn you will love it and also its a movie that shows teachers too can learn from their students vice versa.
