Very sad to hear of Pope Francis death on Easter Monday what a sad irony.
What I’m touched is you don’t have to be a catholic to mourn the great man who was The Pope he was a man of the people who dedicated his life to service and chose to live and die by his faith.
He was a man of miracles he was the first Latin pope and was famed for his advocacy and simplistic living not extravagance.
He liked being on the same level as his followers.
And him having my fathers name I always felt spiritually connected to the late Pope.
What gets to me we all crossed our fingers he was through the worst of it when he battled his recent illness but sadly it wasn’t meant to be.
But being the warrior he is he spent his last day on earth still doing his duty and greeting large crowds even when advised not to.
Maybe spiritually he knew he was fading and wanted to do one last good deed.
This just sums up who the Pope truly was.
I feel people that put power on their head and value position should know there’s no hierarchy in death and you cant escape when death comes knocking.
You should always be humble and help others before yourself.
I’m happy your not in pain anymore Pope Francis.
You truly were the people’s Pope.
Pope Francis you will be remembered for your acts of humanity and for advocating for the most disadvantaged in society, and embracing your fellow man regardless of sex, race and religion.
We are all God’s children.
With your death there’s genuinely few good people now on earth.
