Happy 64th Nigerian Independence Day.
I’m so proud of being a Nigerian and and know a lot of people in diaspora are too.
Why do you think I love my homeland.
Well Nigerians one thing about us unlike UK even if were defeated or going through a hard time we always smile and take the hard times in our stride.
There’s a sense were all in this together.
From the Nollywood movies and reality shows and documentaries there is one thing Nigerians all share the sense of familiarity and being there for your neighbour which is not like that in some places of Britain particularly North West London.
Would you believe there’s some places in Britain where neighbours have died and the the living neighbours have never even said condolences or some neighbours don’t even know their neighbours first name.
If you don’t believe me ask for yourself.
But what i pray is for peace to keep on reigning and for the youth to have motivation to aim higher and instead of going abroad to find job happiness.
Why will we harvest talent and let others enjoy the rewards.
I’m impressed by President Tinubu and pray his administration continue to do grassroots networking and speaking to various residents of different tribes of how their prospering in Nigeria and what other assistance they need to lead more fulfilling lives.
As there still is more work to do.
As they say were only as strong as our weakest link.
I hope people enjoy their food today, as I will treat my family to a succulent meal Naija style of course.
And I myself will love to get more involved in Nigerian real estate as I’ve done a course in my friends dads company before and would love to bring my expertise to the Naija housing market.
Also I would love to get more involved with Nigeria media and work with key figures in the current Nigerian government as ,I think by reading this blog your getting the hint I would love possibly move back to Nigeria,as I miss it,and with the current tense climate in UK its simply tough being a foreigner and loads of foreigners are returning back home.
