To me it should be a crime a man so beautiful and equally talented would have to be a server just to pay bills.
That’s what former ”General Hospital” star Johnny Wactor had to do,and its a common practice for most struggling or upcoming actors.
But still Johnny did it with a smile on his face, as he knew he was destined to someday make it in Hollywood.
How come a hard-working man like this will come across mindless thugs lurking by his car after a long shift on his feet.
He innocently approached the masked men thinking they were towing his car without provocation, a man blasted him to death and they all escaped in a dark sedan.
First aid efforts were pointless as he passed away at the scene due to the bullet to his chest.
And even in the end he was a gentleman the woman colleague with him Johnny shielded her.
The bitter irony the catalytic converter they were trying to steal isn’t even up to $400 .
Is that worth someone’s life?
Car jacking is a crime that is on the rise especially in metropolitan cities like London and should be reported more.
I remember when I was in a policy meeting ,and when my parents were in the car they noticed a man in a bike wanting to break into a fellow politician’s car ,they horned their car at the would be thief and he then rode his bike away.
When I came back to the car my parents told me I was shocked I told the politician and he was grateful, and he sent flowers to my parents and visited them to thank them personally.
He was emotional as he left his wallet and work laptop in the car.
I shudder to think especially after this actors death that what would have happened if my parents left the car to confront him.
What I would advise people don’t leave personal effects in your car,and have some lock system.
And also if you see people burgling your car or someone elses don’t confront just phone the authorities.
In Johnny’s case I don’t care how long it takes justice will prevail his killers will feel full force of the law.
The worst crime is a senseless crime.
