I was so happy to come across this story about 3 triplets who are obsessed with their garbageman.
What makes the story special is the children are white and the garbage man is African-American.
They were sad when his route changed so didn’t get to see him ,so the council arranged for him to stop by their house and the reunion was emotional.
I always ay children are the best teachers.
Their mind is so innocent they don’t know what colour is.
It’s when they get corrupted with racism that’s when the damage is done and in some cases is irreversible.
I know their friendship will last for years and know they inherited a honorary grandpa.
If life could be like this wouldn’t it not be sweet.
People should take the time to say hi to their garbageman its a manual job that doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
