Anyone who knows about wrestling knows it takes literally years before you can achieve a career talk less of ‘main event status’.
Some spend years literally clawing their way to the top, and still never make it, so I was beyond impressed that a woman called Jade Cargill graduated with a social science degree and became a child psychologist and worked with foster children, and then later began wrestling training worked for companies like AEW and then ultimately WWE.
Achieving all this within the span of 4-5 years which definitely earns some applause, especially doing parts of her journey during a pandemic.
I feel more representations of strong ,beautiful and educated black woman doesn’t get hailed or talked about the way it should by the media, but she is definitely worth the hype ,and I believe she has a future WWE woman’s championship reign in the near future if her dominating matches are anything to go by.
Her journey is truly a whirlwind but am so relieved she landed on the doorsteps of WWE.
I expect big things from her.
And women all over the world if your second-guessing yourself that can I make it in that career change.
Can I live my dreams?
The answer is yes you can (doesn’t that sound familiar).
Ultimately it’s never too late for that change.
