Where’s Your Heart?

Morally times are tough not just financially.
I remember recently I was in a Central London train station platform waiting to go home and after buying some nigerian suya to treat me and my well deserving mum .
A young isolate english boy like 5 years old  was screaming out of the top of his lungs begging for his mum , and no-one except me and one somalian woman who had one of the best French manicures I’ve ever seen batted an eyelid.
And there was scours of people in the station
They didn’t know if they were witnessing an abduction take place.
No-one moved a inch to help and after me and the somalian woman helped him the situation became crystal clear.
The babysitter was walking ahead of the boy in a fast pace and refused to hold his hand, and he felt abandoned so was crying for his mum.
The young babysitter was as cold as ice and didn’t even thank us for enquiring about his crying, she then harshly grabbed him and stormed out of the station.
I believe not everyone should be allowed to have or take care of children even if they have a the so-called qualifications.
Evidently the boy was scared of her,and had good reason to be.
I just want to urge, parents always be cautious about whose taking care of your children and be willing to check in with them if they can speak of how they feel of their babysitter in private.
Or access the body language between your child and the babysitter once your in the vicinity,as they say actions speak louder than words.
But shame on people who saw what was going on and decided ignorance is bliss.
I know were a chilly country, but are we internally becoming colder too.
O why I’m not surprised if you think thats bad I remember reading a story of a woman being raped in a train while commuters were seated nearby and no-one bothered to help.
Again maybe its a theme in my blogs or just the new reality we are sadly living in darker times.
