Watch if not squeamish.
What I appreciate, and is a rare novelty these days celebrities willing to use their platform to help others and change their lives in meaningful ways.
Justin Baldoni is one of those individuals he’s moved from the days of Jane The Virgin (man I love that show)
To produce and host a thought-provoking documentary series which is hosted on Youtube and called ‘my last days’.
It’s basically every episode based on a different person who has a terminal condition embark on their own personal bucket list of things to achieve before they die.
These are people from all walks of life but all share a bleak diagnosis.
The episode that moved me personally was a young woman with terminal cancer who you could tell activism ran through her veins , and that she would have been a welcome addition to the world of politics, but sadly she would never achieve that.
But still she didn’t wallow in self pity she faced death head on with a smile on her face ,and even summoned the strength to attend a Democrat convention and fangirl over the legendary political rebel Bernie Sanders.
Please watch this show you will have a new-found appreciation for life and realise some situations don’t compare to others.
I think the true gift nowadays especially since pandemic is being able to wake up the next day, as not everyone is lucky to.
